Moms Making a Difference

Each time you participate in a MomConnection survey, you'll have the opportunity to vote for one of four charities.

Help MomConnection make a real difference for parents and children across the country. Each time you participate in a MomConnection survey, you'll have the opportunity to cast a vote for one of four charities that help mothers and children make the most of every day. At the end of the year, we will divide up and donate $15,000 based on your votes.

In 2009, your votes will direct MomConnection donations to:

What To Expect Foundation

The What to Expect Foundation takes its name from the best-selling What to Expect pregnancy and parenting series, which has helped over 25 million families from pregnancy through their child's toddler years. But many families living in poverty can neither afford, nor perhaps read, these books. Thus the birth of The What To Expect Foundation. Our prenatal health literacy program helps needy families expect healthier pregnancies, safer deliveries and happy babies. For more information, visit What to Expect's website at www.whattoexpect.org.

National Partnership for Women and Families

The National Partnership for Women & Families is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that uses public education and advocacy to promote fairness in the workplace, quality health care, and policies that help women and men meet the dual responsibilities of work and family. Founded in 1971 as the Women's Legal Defense Fund, the National Partnership has grown from a small group of volunteers into one of the nation's most powerful and effective advocates for women and families. Working with business, government, unions, nonprofit organizations, and the media, the National Partnership is a voice for fairness, a source for solutions, and a force for change.  Visit www.nationalpartnership.org for more information.
