Imagine you have an hour without your kids or husband around—money is no object and you can go anywhere in the world with anyone you like. Tell us your fantasy me-time activity.
- A full body massage overlooking a mountain lake...followed by me sitting in front of a fire drinking a lovely glass of red reading a really good book...oh, and there'd be chocolate! :)
- Oh, just to have an hour that would be all mine would be great. I'm always multi-tasking. I would just be happy scrapbooking w/o any interruptions. No need to go anywhere, I wouldn't want to come back after only an hour!!
- I would go to Oregon. Hike through the mountains and then go relax on the beach.
- I would want a complete makeover - hair, body, makeup, clothing - all of it!
- I would love a relaxing, delicious, fancy dinner with my husband. Soft music, nice wine, gourmet meal with desert. We could talk about anything except work, can't leave the kiddos out they're a wonderful source for comedy. The location would be next to a beautiful blue ocean with the breeze blowing lightly. TAKE ME AWAY!
- Somewhere quiet and secluded...just me and some hunky guy serving me drinks and massages
- I would like to take the opportunity to fly to Paris maybe for a week. Visit museums and beaches, and just relax for the entire week being pampered by masseuses

Holiday shopping tips from practical moms...
- Buy during major clearance sales - right after Christmas, July toy clearance at major retailers, etc.
- Buy stuff on sale any time of the year and save it
- Buy them throughout the year and stockpile away. They are cheaper earlier in the year.
- Buy toys in January.
- Comparison shop! Look online, at different stores, watch for the items to go on sale. Don't wait until the last minute to try to get the toys your kids want!
- Go early and look for clearance sales...most kids are not picky and would still love a toy that is last year's style.
- I like shopping on eBay for toys for my daughter. There is a lot of variety and many good deals, even on new toys.
- I shop primarily online, both to avoid the crowds and to get the best deals. It's much easier to go to another website than another brick-and-mortar store.
- Lay it away and watch for it to go on sale, then take the ad to layaway and let them apply this to your total.
- Look for deals. Shop year round! Go online.
- Shop online first to find the best price rather than driving all over town to find the best deal.
- Snag something that you want for the kids when you see it at a good price and then just hold onto it until the holidays. Stock up whenever you see bargains.
- Wait until right after holidays or right before for big savings
- Who has time to worry about getting a bargain? I'm just happy to get my shopping done at all!
